Can you recommend any distilleries close to Edinburgh that give tours of the scotch making process and host scotch tastings?

Aberdeen's local newspaper (The Press & Journal) organises trips round "The Whisky Trail" which involves travelling round visiting various distilleries which I have been told is excellent.
