I will be traveling by train and will not have a car while I am there. I am looking for a general area to narrow my search down - Old town, New Town or even more specific than that if possible.

Try the Apex City or Apex International Hotels. They are in Grassmarket. If you book early enough you can get a decent rate. I stayed there on a recent weekend trip to Edinburgh. They throw in breakfast in the morning wiht your hotel rate. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station, or about a 10 minute taxi ride. And Grassmarket is a 5 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and a 10 minute taxi ride to New Town.

¿Te gustaría recorrer a Edimburgo?
