mince and tatties is a good one.also stovies (mashed potatos and sausage all mixed up.)pie and chips - bridies (meat pies with onion) but my favorite is black pudding (or blood pudding to the west.)battered and deep fried - its manna-food of the gods.dont forget to wash it all down with irn bru (the national soft drink)a traditional breakfast of square sausage,egg,potato scone,soda scone,bacon and fried bread is also a sunday treat not to be missed.

Stovies. Either made with corned beef or Sausages. Corned beef my favourite - Generally served at hogmanay. There is also red (in Fife), black and white pudding, Tattie scones, Cavins.Only the best food comes from Scotland. Most large supermarkets only serve Scottish beef.
